"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you."
Disappointment has a way of hardening the heart if we're not careful. Hurt can make us suspicious. Rejection can make us guarded. Repeated struggles can slowly steal our compassion.
Ask God to keep your heart soft even when life becomes hard. A tender heart continues to forgive, continues to trust, and continues to love because it draws its strength from God rather than circumstances.
Here's the challenge: Has disappointment made your heart harder than God intended?
Action Step: Pray specifically that God would soften any area where resentment or bitterness has begun to grow.
